Salty, sweet and spicy candied bacon made with brown sugar, black pepper, maple syrup and a touch of cayenne.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar, black pepper and cayenne pepper in a bowl and coat both sides of the bacon.

Bake for 15 minutes then flip the bacon and bake for 15 minutes more. Drizzle maple syrup over the bacon.
