Pepperoni Cheese Rolls with Hawaiian Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 48 slices pepperoni
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup pecorino romano cheese or parmesan, grated
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Garlic Herb Butter Topping

  • cup butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Separate the Hawaiian rolls and cut 2 slits ⅔s of the way through each roll. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Stuff each roll with 4 slices of pepperoni, a little bit of mozzarella cheese, and provolone cheese.
  • In a bowl, combine garlic herb butter ingredients and brush onto the rolls. Sprinkle pecorino romano cheese on top and bake for 10 minutes.

Notes

  • Make it your own with your favorite pizza toppings.
  • Make homemade marinara sauce. I promise you, it's worth it!
  • Dip it in extra garlic herb sauce!
  • Make a pull apart cheesy bread by leaving the Hawaiian rolls attached, slice the slits and stuff it with cheese and pepperoni.
