Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound green beans trimmed
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ cup cold water
  • oil for frying
  • ranch dressing to serve

Seasonings

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • pinch ground cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 inch of oil to 375°F.
  • Meanwhile, mix flour, water, and seasonings in a shallow bowl. The consistency should be similar to thin pancake batter.
  • Dip the string beans in the batter, letting the excess drip off, and fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Fry in batches and drain on a wire rack.
  • Serve immediately with ranch.
