I'm so happy you're here!
My culinary adventures started with baking chocolate chip cookies! I was asked to make cookies for a bake sale so I bought four rolls of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough. First time ever using an oven! After setting the temperature and forming the cookie dough, I had perfect chocolate chip cookies in just ten minutes. Then, I placed the cookies on a plate, one on top of another. The next morning, I had one big cookie. I didn't know you had to let the cookies cool first so they all stuck together! That was 15 years ago! This experience sparked my interest for experimenting in the kitchen.

Over the years, I researched extensively how to recreate dishes from my favorite restaurants, watched cooking videos on techniques, bookmarked countless recipes and drooled over beautiful food photography.
I created this blog to share my favorite recipes and kitchen adventures inspired by restaurants, travel and cultures.
I admire the power of food, it sustains us, it's a common ground that we all share and brings people together from all backgrounds.
You will find a lot of Asian recipes but also a mix of everything else.
The Chinese recipes are reverse engineered from my family's take out restaurant and traditional dishes I ate growing up!
I hope you find inspiration to try new foods, experiment in the kitchen and make delicious food to share with your friends and family!
Happy nomming!
